TVARC contesters,

The ARRL sponsors a number of on-the-air competitions, including the upcoming 10M contest this weekend. One feature of many of these competitions is clubs competing against other clubs of similar size: small, medium or large.

When TVARC chooses to enter the club competition, we enter as a small club. In order to enter the club competition TVARC needs to send a list of qualified club members to

ARRL before the start of the contest. I am the manager of the list. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BE ON THE LIST TO ENTER THE CONTEST. THE LIST SIMPLY IDENTIFIES WHICH MEMBERS’ SCORES WILL BE INCLUDED IN THE

CLUB COMPETITION.

Below is the current list of TVARC members whose scores can be eligible for the club competition. If you would like to be added to the list, please let me know ASAP. If your information needs to be updated, please let me know ASAP. You MUST be an ARRL member, and you MUST operate within 35 miles of the club center.

Again, you don’t have to be on the list to play in the contest. You don’t have to be on the list to submit your log for the contest. You do not have to be on the list to indicate that you are a member of The Villages Amateur Radio Club on your log. You only have to be on the list to have your score aggregated with the others on the list for the club competition. Any questions?
