Living in apartments for the past six years I haven’t been on the air very much. When I did operate it was portable mainly at the Eisenhower Recreation Center picnic shelter getting only a few hours air time and subject to weather. To get more air time and reward myself, I decided to try a Magnetic Loop in my living room. Just think of it as modern art!

My 41 Inch square loop, 3/4 Copper Pipe with a slide trombone capacitor and a GAMMA match.

 

My brag is in the past days on FT8 I have worked 76 countries with my little loop. I believe it helps that the loop is quieter and 15M seemed to be better than I recalled.
