Hi John (& everybody) -
I "cheated" and took down the flagpole during a lull in the wind. It does wobble a bit and I'd rather be safe than sorry. It's back up in time for Veterans Day!
Cheers & 73,
Paul, KM4PIH
GA folks,
Hope everyone did okay during Nicole,it could have been much worse!
Just out of curiosity, has anyone whohas used a flagpole for an antenna, suffer any significant storm damage? If so, it might be helpful to future users,to know what are potential trouble spots,to know what failed, how and/or why itfailed, construction details, etc.
Since the flagpole is such a popular antennahere, it would be nice to offer some thoughtsto new users based on the experience ofothers.
