Hope to hear many of you Ladies and Gentlemen this weekend in the CQ-WW phone contest. I’m at the PJ2T SuperStation in Curaçao with at least three guys who are going to WRTC next summer.
I’m really not worthy! :). These guys put on a contesting clinic.
Even if you’re not a contester, PJ2T is on all “regular” HF phone bands (160-10), so if you hear us on or you see us spotted jump in and work us. If you’re a little pistol, your best change of working us or any contester will probably be Sunday afternoon when things quiet down a bit.
If you’re operating from TV…the exchange is 59 (it’s always 59) 5.
That’s your signal report and your CQ Zone. No need to say “please copy” or tell the op about the weather…drop in your call phonetically (once) and when you’re called…just say…five nine five. The op will say five nine nine…and you’re done!

I have PowerPoint slides for November setup, and working on general meeting minutes. Are you going to be at the shack any evening this week or maybe we can do a zoom to go over minutes. Trying to stay ahead, holidays will make month shorter.

I happened to notice in today's Villages News that Ron Pitts KK4SIX passed away last Friday. I hadn't seen Ron in some time, not sure what his TVARC status was currently. He had been an active member at events a few years back. Ron was a good guy, always willing to help. He lived just a few houses away from George W4GOR in the Village of Hadley.
RIP Ron. God bless you.
