Well, another weekend of contesting. I did NOT spend much time with it, however. Seems like there must have been a solar storm or solar flairs, or something. The SFI was just over 100 which is way down from a week ago, and the Sunspot number also down in the low 50's, high 40's. That said, not a single YB station heard, considering it was their contest. 
In fact, I heard more FT8 activity in the regular FT8 band segments, and very little activity in the special segments that were listed in the contest rules.
I think my Flex has a duty cycle issue and when it got hot it gave me some issues with drop out. I need to investigate this. As a work around, I ran my KPA500 amp using 5 watts of drive from the Flex, giving me the 100 watts output so I can stay in the Low Power category. Between my equipment issue, and the band conditions, made for a not a stress free time spent.
