Severe Weather Preparations – UPDATED 9/30/2022

We appreciate your patience and assistance as the District secured facilities in preparation for Hurricane Ian.  While emergency management continues to be a function of the county in which you reside, the District works extremely hard in ensuring the safety of District staff, residents of The Villages and District facilities.

District Property Management has begun their assessment of our stormwater system, water retention areas and roadway debris.

All District Administrative Offices have resumed normal business hours as of Friday, September 30, 2022.

Recreation Facilities – Indoor & Outdoor

We greatly appreciate your understanding and patience.

Other Information

  • Community Watch will begin placing the gate arms back on all of the gates on Saturday, October 1, 2022.  As you approach a gate in which the gate arm has been removed, please use caution and stop before proceeding.
  • Irrigation may continue to run along common areas and roadways to lower the water levels in water retention areas.  This is done to ensure adequate capacity of the storm water management system.
