FYI - Both of these reports speak about the solar flare that was earth bound last week explaining the propagation blackouts we experienced during Field Day on some of the high bands. 

One report also mentioned about a "crack" we now have in the magnetosphere, caused by the geomagnetic storm. Maybe there is more to worry about than "climate change"?
