The weather forecast is not encouraging today, especially from 2 PM on into the evening.  Then more rain tomorrow.

Therefore, I plan to drop off the antennas at Eisenhower at NOON today so that we can start assembling them and getting them ready for the trailer (which will be delivered sometime after 3 PM).

What I envision us doing starting at NOON today is:

  1. Assemble the 3 elements of the TA-33 yagi.
  2. Assemble both 6-BTV vertical antennas and mount them on pipes that we will drive into the ground.
  3. Assemble and install the 6M antenna on its mast (all provided by K3ZGA).
  4. Mount the VHF/UHF yagi on a mast.
  5. Install the yellow club banner in the grass.

With any luck we will finish these tasks before the weather arrives.  If the weather cooperates, we MAY RECONVENE after the trailer gets delivered.  I will send out an announcement when it arrives.

Thanks and 73,

George K2DM
