Clubmates,

In case you are wondering what all these frequencies are for, here’s the deal:

One of our Field Day stations will be on 2M FM and 440MHz FM from time to time.  Occasionally, one of the K4VRC operators will call out a CQ Field Day on one of the simplex frequencies that Bruce has identified for us below.  These contacts must be made using simplex in order to count for our Field Day score.  If you hear K4VRC calling CQ Field Day on one of these frequencies, give us a call.  You can work us for points once on 2M AND once on 440MHz.

Bruce points out that the K4VRC repeater on 443.225 MHz can be used for chatting with the Field Day crew at Eisenhower OR amongst yourselves to share your Field Day experiences.  However, repeater contacts can not be used for Field Day points.

73,

George K2DM
