I need some help.  I have been using an IC-7300 (Radio A) hooked to an LDG AT-1000ProII tuner (Tuner A) at my Virginia location for two years.  Rather than hauling eqpt back and forth (I am a snowbird) I duplicated equipment here in Florida.

I have been using an IC-7300 (Radio B) and LDG AT-600ProII tuner here in FL and recently upgraded to the AT-1000ProII (Tuner B) that I got at HRO.  When I received the AT-1000 it would not work properly so I contacted HRO and they sent me another one.  That, too, did not work correctly.  I contacted LDG and have been working with one of the techs there to determine what is not happening.  The holidays hit so he said they would work on the issue after the holidays.  HRO tested the one I sent back and said that it is working properly (undefined)

In the meantime, I have been trying to determine just what the problem is because my LDG-600ProII works fine with my radio (Radio B) but the AT-1000ProII (Tuner B) does not.

My analysis - with the units hooked together using the special interconnect cord, when you push the "TUNER" button on the IC-7300 it provides low-level RF to the tuner and tells the tuner to tune.  On the screen of the IC-7300, top left, there is a box that shows "TUNE" just above the red TX icon.  The TUNE color changes from white to red when pushing the TUNER button to force a tune on the tuner.  That functions with the AT-600 tuner that I have but does not function when hooked to the AT-1000 unit - there is no white TUNE box, so when I push the TUNER button it blinks red TUNE but nothing happens and the AT-1000 sends an error message saying there is no RF being provided.

Are there any local members of the TVARC using the same combo - IC-7300 with AT-1000ProII or any LDG tuner?  If so, perhaps he/she could contact me to compare notes.
