The party was terrific. DUH! on me. I overslept my nap and arrived late. Nevertheless, I met some new friends and thoroughly enjoyed myself.

When I heard the announcement of a special GRAND PRIZE, I paused, with ‘baited breath’, awaiting the rumored announcement that the GP would be a “flag pole antenna, completely installed, with radials”. My hopes were dashed, but it did sound too good to be true.

(LOL, for the benefit of those who thought there really may have been a rumored rumored announcement.)
