[TVARC] Ham Radio Deluxe - Second Request

 I have been using Ham Radio Deluxe with WSJT-X, and JTALERT for
several years and always use the latest version - right now HRD 6.8.0.372,
WSJT-X  3.1.0 and JTALERT 2.81.5. I am using a Windows PC using WIN11.  My
rig is an IC-7300.  I use HRD for rig control and logging.  I am
very satisfied with the combination.

I have been monitoring various remarks about upgrading HRD to the newest
version (6.9.) but I have been hanging back due to the many issues that
have surfaced.  It seems that things have settled down.  Nevertheless,
before I make the jump, are there any members using the same configuration
as I am who have some advice on their experience on making the jump?  It
seems like every time I think of updating to 6.9, some contest or DX Event
stops me.

I am totally satisfied with HRD Ver 6.8 but feel I should be keeping up
with the state of the art.  "If it ain't broke, don't fix it" comes to mind
but I feel internally pressured to upgrade.

Once I get Ver 6.9 working, I will dabble in the relatively new FT2.

Have any Club members made the jump to Ver 6.9 while using the same
equipment as I have?  If not, I will proceed into the wilderness.
