Good Morning!
Well, for better or worse...another TVARC Field Day is in the books.
We did some things right...and there are a few matters that could have
been handled more efficiently. Doug, Paul, Kym, Steve and I will be
working
up an after action report that will be presented at the August Meeting.
I encourage any of you that had Field Day contact from your home station,
to submit your log to the ARRL...hopefully you used the N1MM logging
program.
Makes it a lot easier.
Your Humble Vice President has assigned Himself two tasks to be completed
this week:
1) Combine all of the N1MM Logs from the Field Day site and submit them
along with
all of the required documentation for bonus points to the ARRL. When
that's
completed, I will post the results and a claimed* score to the TVARC
Reflector.
2) For those of you who used the N1MM Logging Program...but are a little
fuzzy on
what to do next, I will walk you through the entire process of creating
a Cabrillo
log and how to submit your score and attach your log to the submitted
entry form.
If after reading my most excellent pictorial explanation, you are still
confused...
we will provide a triage at the July meeting (with your laptop) and we'll
get your
log submitted. It is very helpful that for Field Day scores ONLY,
ARRL gives you
thirty (30) days to submit your log. Most contests limit you to 5-7 days
after the
contest ends.
If you fall into the "confused" group and need some assistance, plase email
me off
the Reflector so I have a feeling for how many of you need help at the
July meeting.
Nobody else needs to be aware of your confusion...it'll be our little
secret.

*Thanks,*
