[TVARC] Field Day Rules / More N1MM Resources on the way soon!

Good Day Hamsters!

When you're working Field Day stations from home...if you have been or plan
to be an operator at the TVARC Field Day Site this year, please do NOT work
K4VRC or K2DM (the GOTA Station) when you hear them. If you have packet
cluster access and someone's calling CQ at the TVARC site...please spot
them!

If you will NOT be an operator at the TVARC site, work K2DM and K4VRC early
and often.

Apparently, there's an ARRL Field Day rule in the fine print to prevent
this.  Seems fair to me.

One of my Thursday or Friday morning projects will be to put together a
brief illustrated narrative to assist you with setting up the N1MM Contest
Logging Program so that you can log your CW and SSB Field Day Contacts.  It
will be posted at www.k4vrc.com under the Field Day tab.  It will be in PDF
format, so you may print it out at your convenience.

If you haven't done so already, please download and install N1MM and the
most recent update from https://n1mmwp.hamdocs.com/downloads/

My instructions will assume that you have already done that.

I believe Paul Nittel and/or George Briggs have already done this for those
of you who are using WSJT-X for FT8 QSOs *without* N1MM Logger.  K2DM's
screenshots are on www.k4vrc.com...under the Field Day tab.

On Sunday or Monday, I'll send another illustrated narrative on the process
of exporting your log to create a Cabrillo Log which can be submitted to
the ARRL.  Also included will be the process of submitting your Field Day
log to the ARRL via  www.arrl.org

But if you're having trany ouble figuring that out, even after my most
excellent explanation...you may bring your laptop to the July meeting...and
there will be a couple of N1MM gurus ready to walk you through the process
and get your log submitted.

The Field Day log submission deadline is July 29th.
