[TVARC] Camp Villages report

Monday was the TVARC Camp Villages session at Manatee Rec Center.  Thirteen
of us TVARC members volunteered, but our camper count was down this year.

Only five grandkids were signed up.  All of them attended.  I told our club
members that a few of them could leave, and two accepted my offer.

After I gave an introductory presentation, we handed out an FM radio kit to
each camper.  Each camper was assisted by one or two TVARC members.

Within minutes all five campers had their radios assembled and working!!!
There were big smiles all around as they tuned through stations listening to
music.

Then all five campers were invited to "the Morse code table" where WB2ART
and K2PS led them through sending their names in Morse code.  Again, smiles
all around!!!
