[TVARC] Florida State Parks on the Air "Contest" (FSPOTA) - April 17-20, 2026

Hi Members of TVARC’s MailList,

The 2026 Florida State Parks on the Air (FSPOTA) “Contest” is coming up.  This year’s event will span 4 days (April 17 through April 20, 2026). This year it is being sponsored by the Tamiami Amateur Radio Club (W4AC) in Venice, Florida.

As yet, I don’t see any officially planned activations of any Florida State Parks by our club (TVARC).  You can see planned club activations at this FSPOTA webpage:

Probably, Lake Griffin State Park (in Lake County) is the closest Florida State Park to activate from The Villages.

So, get ready now to participate in this FSPOTA contest as a “hunter” or an “activator”.
