Here was my experience when I lived in Fenney in 2019 that I sent to an OM
back 2023 when he was considering Greyline:
"I lived in TV (Village of Fenney) for almost three years before moving back
to OH. I used the 20' Greyline OCF Flagpole with the MFJ-998RT remote tuner
at the base of the pole. Didn't have anything to compare it to, so I would
say the performance was OK for what it was. Installation was fairly
straightforward.
Now, for the dealings with the company and particularly Jon Kimball, KL2A.
He is not the best communicator.many unanswered phone calls and voice mails.
At times, his voice mail was full and couldn't accept any new messages. Had
some missing parts that took some persistence on my part to obtain them.
Sent me the wrong screws to assemble the poles together. Went back and
forth several time to try to get the proper ones. He finally sent me
another box of screws.the same incorrect ones he sent me the first time.
Told me to buy what I needed and he'd reimburse me. Did that, sent the
invoice and never heard about it again nor saw any refund. Primarily, it
was just trying to catch him with questions and missing parts. Very poor
customer service. I think he was trying to do too much with not enough
workers. And, I don't think he was physically where the warehouse was
located.
All of this was in the spring of 2019. Hopefully, things have gotten better
by now."
