[TVARC] 10 meter band

New to much of this. Would like to know if there is activity on the 10 meter band, Technician section? When I have listened, with only one or two exceptions, all I'm hearing is static. I'm in the far north part of The Villages, a patio villa, with a dipole in the attic. I don't know if there is very minimal activity, or if I have an equipment problem. Thanks.
