2025 ARRL Field Day is June 28 - 29

 

SOME  DETAILS

The Annual Radio Amateur Field Day is coming soon! It will once again be held at the Sumter County Emergency Trailer which will be located in the Eisenhower Recreation Center parking area. We are currently seeking a Chairperson for this event and final planning will take place at our TVARC Club meeting in June. 

 

WILL YOU BE THERE?

To begin the planning process, I am requesting that ANYONE who plans to assist with Field Day  in  ANY capacity send their name with their call sign to me, Doug/AD4MO on the reflector (tvarc at mailman.qth.net <mailto:tvarc at mailman.qth.net>) or at my email.moeda at yahoo.com <mailto:email.moeda at yahoo.com>. This will inform the Board of how big and capable our Field Day team will be. You might be interested in:

·      Setting up radios, antennas, coax, tents and banners on 6/27 and 6/28
·      Elmering new hams
·      Transporting supplies and equipment from storage to the Eisenhower headquarters
·      Working stations on 
o   SSB
o   FT8 or 
o   CW
·      Being an ambassador to talk with interested visitors. 
·      Packing up after Fi eld Day ends on 6/29.
