Hi Andy,
Our recently deceased fellow club member, NP2B, did very well with a screwdriver antenna mounted on his birdcage. John had no radials associated with it.
I am handling the sale of John’s equipment, so if you are interested, look up the Tarheel model 100A, then contact me.
