Hi Hal/W4OE,
Maybe “SDR-Control” software displaying your ICOM’s IC-7300 on a large monitor connected to a computer would also be a way for you to continue enjoying your existing radios by allowing you to enlarge the interface bigger than the placard buttons or menus that are physically on your 7300 ham rig.
I use “SDR-Control” software products to operate my ICOM IC-7610. The developer and his product are very good. You can get SDR-Control for Apple Mac computers (running MacOS), Apple tablets (iPads running iPadOS), and even Apple iPhones (running iOS).
There may be other similar software products available for Microsoft Windows and other operating systems that would also allow you to display your rig’s user interface on a computer monitor in a bigger format than the rig’s native one.
Stay safe from COVID-19 😷 💉
