I'm very sorry to hear this, but from the last e-mails Doug and I exchanged back in mid-Aug, I felt the end was close.  Turns out, about five weeks.  But, he went out on his terms, which is all any of us can wish for.  May God bless you, Master Chief.  Til Valhalla.

I am saddened to report that Doug Stenzel, K1CTR, is a silent key. I am including information from his son about an upcoming celebration of life.

George  - hi this is Chris Stenzel, Doug’s son. I found your contact details on my father’s phone. I am not sure if you had heard but my father passed away on September 27. He passed away peacefully with his family by his side.

Dad’s celebration of life will be on Monday November 4th at 11AM at Dignity Memorial Life Celebration Center
7134 Powell Road Wildwood. 

We look forward to welcoming his many friends and family and sharing some of the great stories about Dad.
If you would be so kind as to pass this onto the Radio Operator group we would be very grateful.
