[TVARC] Parks on the Air (POTA) Demonstration- Lake Griffin State Park

At the recent TVARC Contester’s luncheon, a number of TVARCers asked if
they could observe me activating a Parks on the Air (POTA) station at a
local state park.



This POTA operation will be more for a Q&A session rather than serious
operating effort.



At 10:00 AM on Tuesday, March 12th, I plan to be at Griffin Lake State Park
(just south of route 446A and highway 27/441, on the west side of 27/441).


After stopping at the entry booth (paying $5), proceed to the large paved
parking lot 1/10th of a mile on your right.



Across from that lot is a paved walkway to the picnic area and I’ll be at
one of the first picnic tables wearing a TVARC polo shirt.
