[TVARC] Presentation on NXDN June 13

On Thursday June 13 at 6:00PM  Paul Toth- NB9X will be giving a presentation on NXDN.  NXDN is the ICOM/Kenwood Digital Voice and Data Protocol.  The presentation will include information on how it is being used by SKYWARN  and the National Weather Service here in Florida.  Additionally we will discuss how the new NXDN repeater being installed in Sumter county fits into this network.    This is a great opportunity to hear about a new technology as well as learn more about a new repeater in the County.

This will take place at the Sumter County Emergency Operations Center at 7361 Powell Rd, Wildwood, FL.  This building is located behind the County building (Gold Dome building)...

We will monitor 147.585 simplex  (no pl)  for any problems getting into the building
