use to play with it before moving to TV. Had a nice boom but nothing here. Thinking of modifying an Alaskan hand held laying in the attac and putting it on a camera tripod. But alas to many ideas for allowed time

Hello all,
I wanted to get a feel for how many club members dabble with the 23cm band.
I realize we have a 23cm repeater, although I thought before I get an antenna,
if anyone is currentlyusing or interested in any type of 23cm activity, please feel free to kick me back a reply.
At my last QTH in Texas, my 23cm boom was 15FT long with 55 elements, of course
here in The Villages, I may have to scale it down a little if I go with a directional antenna.
Thanks,
Stan Musick, W5PDQ
