Many thanks to Gary, W2TR, for fixing the scratchy audio on EchoLink for the 443.225 repeater. Gary replaced the vintage Dell PC with a somewhat newer HP PC and did some fine tuning wizardry.
At the same time Dennis, N0SMX, replaced the ‘stick’ antenna with a small yagi antenna, which has a lower SWR and gives us gain in the direction of the repeater. Good job guys.
Let’s see how it all works during tomorrow’s rag chew net.
