Hi Members of TVARC’s MailList (especially those interested in contesting),

It’s time to get your station ready for the upcoming 2024 "Florida QSO Party" contest. This annual contest will be held this coming weekend (April 27 & April 28). It will be run in two (2) sessions. The first session will be run on Saturday April 27th. The second one on Sunday April 28th. The ONLY modes permited for this contest are CW and Phone; so, NO digital modes are allowed.

The Florida QSO Party contest is especially fun for us residing in Florida because our Florida stations will be the PREY that all the other (non-Florida) contesters (HUNTERS) will be chasing after. Since your Florida station will be the desired target contact, it should be fun being the “fox” chased by the “hounds”.
