[TVARC] UPS Battery life

We have two APC 1500s and I usually
mark/date the batteries when I install them. 5 years is about
average lifespan. Hint: It's a lot easier to buy the two 12 Volt sealed
lead-acid units taped together with the spacer installed when you buy them
otherwise you kinda have to hold your mouth right during installation or
maybe tape them yourself. They are heavy, they are sold on ebay
inexpensively with
the postage paid.
In the APC 1500s, there are two sealed
lead acid units making up one pack.
