Subject: Sat. October 14 Eclipse information
George:
Please share the following information sheet with the membership of TVARC for those who want to operate radios or view the event during the eclipse on Saturday, Oct. 14. 61% of the sun will be covered at 1:25 pm.
FYI - ISO Certified glasses, safe for watching the eclipse, are available from Amazon in different-sized packs.
I have a 10-pack of Soluna glasses ($2 each). The Astronomy Club has a 50-pack for their 'Eclipse Party' at Homestead Rec. Center.
