[TVARC] Radio on the Square

Thirty-seven members of TVARC signed in at Lake Sumter Landing Market Square yesterday for our Radio on the Square event,
and we all seemed to be having a great time.  Huge thanks to our organizers KM4ZTE and W4GOR.  We had plenty of members
available to set up the antennas, radios, tables, etc.  We had plenty of members available to be ambassadors when visitors had
questions or expressed interest in ham radio.  WA1UTQ signed up at least three new members on site.  Foot traffic in the square
was characteristically light for this time of the year, but many of those who visited the square stopped by to chat.  New members
and new licensees had plenty of Elmers to talk to, and they seemed to take good advantage of the opportunity.  And the weather
was fantastic!
Were there a couple of hiccups?  Of course.  That's the nature of "live" radio.  As W4GOR like to say, "That's why it's called AMATEUR
radio."  We worked through all the issues and learned for next time.  Our two stations, FT8 and SSB/CW, were in use continuously,
which is not always the case.
So, kudos to all who participated.  I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did.
