[TVARC] Introduction to the Icom IC-7300 transceiver

Clubmates,

 

As you may know, TVARC has acquired two Icom IC-7300 transceivers to use at
our operating events:  Radio Rodeo, Field Day and Radio on the Square.

We have scheduled April 15th for Radio Rodeo at Brownwood Paddock Square,
and we will use our two Icoms there.  Many of you either own an Icom 7300 or
have experience using one.

For those of you who are new to the radio, I am providing a link to a
YouTube video that provides a nice introduction to its basic features.  If
you like, you can watch the video to gain a basic familiarity with the
IC-7300.

Then, if you are hungry for more information, you can watch other IC-7300
videos, the links to which will be shown while, and after, you watch the
first video.

 

Radio Rodeo will be discussed in detail at our club meeting next Thursday.
