[TVARC] Complcated

I am starting to kick myself a bit for selling my gear.  It is not so easy to find a way to set up what I want to do. I want a rig that is portable I can use in my car and in my trailer when we go camping.

 Who here has an HF rig in their car?

I have been watching youtube videos on the icom 705 that shares a lot of the same stuff as the ICOM 7300.    I also have a super antenna and I am going to 3D print a system to allow it to work as a screwdriver.  It seems that for every 2 steps you take in learning in Ham radio you take one step back.

Does any one here have the ICOM 705?
