[TVARC] Where to go

I sold some of my HF gear as I wanted to find the best way to have my radio's just in my vehicle or be able to use them in my trailer.  But this is harder to do in practice.  I was thinking of an ICOM 705 with a screwdriver antenna.  Would that setup remove the need for an internal antenna tuner?
