[TVARC] GroupMe: Cannot Clear Chats from “Villages Spots”

Hi TVARC Members [especially those using “Village Spots” (via “GroupMe”) to get text alerts about DX spots],

Recently, I’ve been unable to clear (delete) the chat history in the “Villages Spot” group in the “GroupMe” app (on mobile devices) or via it’s web-interface (using browser software, like Firefox, on my Apple laptop to access the GroupMe website).  Is anybody else experiencing this problem when using GroupMe?

Currently, when I invoke GroupMe (app or web-interface), it now displays every chat going back to when “Village Spots” got started!

That problem with GroupMe started about 1 to 2 weeks ago.  Unfortunately, I cannot remember if there was a correlation between this problem’s start and some other event (like a software update).

I submitted a problem report to Microsoft,  GroupMe’s parent; but, as yet, I’ve gotten no reply back.  So, let me know if you found any workarounds or fixes if you also experienced this problem wit GroupMe.
