What a great contest. All S&P here, as I don't trust myself when up
against 40-50 wpm stations. Those guys I have to listen a couple of
times to make sure I have their call right. LOL
Sometimes I think it is a crime how fast some of these guys can work.
Totally insane!!!!
Busy Friday evening, so I didn't get started until Saturday morning.
Plans for Sunday afternoon and evening meant I was shutting down early
as well. I managed some good operating time Saturday and Sunday
mornings, and Saturday evening.
Kudos to George/K2DM, Pete/K2PS, and Rusty/W3US for some really terrific
scores. Good to see Doug/K1CTR getting into the mix, too.

George: It takes a great antenna farm to work QRP. . . I did it back in
the '70s (Argonaut 509) when I had a lot more patience (and a better
antenna).
Terrific band conditions, and I admire Pete in his single band effort;
10 meters was wide open. In fact, I found 10 better than 20 meters
(which is usually a goto band).
I think I had to repeat my exchange only about 3 times during the entire
weekend. And, it seems I was busting through most pileups. In many cases
I came through on my first call. Amazing, considering the flagpole
antenna. Of course the 500 watts helped a little.

Early Sunday morning I even worked a JT/Mongolia, for an ATNO for me
(#206). At first I thought it was just another JA station. Boy, was I
surprised.
