Hope all of you try and get on this weekend to the Florida QSO Party. Starts at noon today!
If you do get on, join up on the ContestOnlineScore website so that club members can see everyone’s progress during the contest.
Here are some instructions I dug up. Hopefully they still work:
Contest Online Scoreboard allows you to monitor the contest progress of stations working in the contest, and is updated by your log.
To use Contest Online Scoreboard, you need a login. Go to <https://contestonlinescore.com/> https://contestonlinescore.com . You will be prompted to Login or Register. If you already have a login, use it. Otherwise, click on Register. You will be asked for callsign, email, name, and password. Enter what you want to use here. At Continent, scroll down and select North America . At Club, scroll down and select The Villages Amateur Radio Club. Click on Update Profile.
Now, at the top left, under Contest Online Scoreboard, scroll down to Coming: Florida QSO Party , highlight that, and click on Go. You can then scroll down to your entry class, such as SO-ALL LP CW (for unassisted) or SO-ALL-LP(A) CW (for assisted) and you should see your call in Red.
At the top you can click on Clubs and you will see all the calls set up for the contest. Before the contest starts ignore any score information because there may be some from an earlier session of the contest. That will clear when the contest starts. The screen refreshes with new information every five minutes. You may have to wait a few minutes after you set up before you see your call. The information is updated by your contest logging software, which needs to be configured to distribute scores. In the case of N1MM, Select Config, Configure Ports... etc, Score Reporting. Click on the Report Real-Time ... box, then the reporting server as <https://contestonlinescore.com/post/> https://contestonlinescore.com/post/, then enter your user name and score reporting password, select the update interval, and click on OK. Most contest logs can be configured to forward scores online. Have fun in the contest.
Good luck all!
73, Pete, K2PS
