Here are my Heathkit rigs/equipment which I built and used.

SB-301 receiver. Thought  I died & went to heaven bcuz I upgraded from a two tube home brew receiver where the bandspread tick mark of 1 KC on the -301 physically equaled 10 KC on the two tube rig.

HG-10 VFO which replaced my novice crystals when I upgraded to a General ticket.

SB-401 Transmitter which replaced a home brew transmitter.

SB-220 purchased with a roll of silver-  composition dimes from my coin collecting days ( at a peak of the silver price boom run up by the Hunt brothers).  Replaced an amp with 813 finals running with 866 mercury vapor tubes in the power supply (provided neat violet glow in the shack).
