Subject: [TVARC] Important notice about next week's meeting


Please read this message if you plan to attend our club meeting next week.



One of our guest speakers will be Jill Winters from the Villages News Network (VNN, Channel 2 on Comcast cable).  Jill is the person who narrated the videos about Radio Rodeo and Field Day.

Because of her schedule, Jill can only be with us from 5:45 until about 6:15.  From 5:45 until 6:00 Jill will join us for some chit-chat.  Then at 6:00 she will give a brief presentation about VNN to the members present before she has to head to a business meeting.



In order to accommodate our guest, we will have a split Elmer hour.  From 5:45 until 6:00 the “bar” will be open.  At 6:00 the cookies and drinks bar will be closed, and we ask that everyone find a seat for Jill’s presentation.  When she has finished, Elmer hour will begin anew.



It’s pretty simple, really.  From 6:00 until 6:15, no getting cookies or drinks while we show respect for our guest.



Our business meeting will begin at the normal time of 6:45.



We will try to get Zoom up and running in time to cover Jill’s remarks.
