[TVARC] Emergency Communications

Another area of Amateur Radio is Emergency Communications.  I am currently looking for those Hams interested in getting involved in emergency communications.

The Sumter County Races Team provides communications between Shelters in Sumter  County and the County EOC.  Additionally they provide communications between the County and the State EOC and on an as needed basis will provide other support as directed by the Director of Emergency Management.

We meet  on the Second Thursday of each month at  the Emergency Management office behind the Tax collector building on Powell Road at 6:00PM.
