[TVARC] flagpole damage

I also ran a wire pair in the conduit next to the coax. I put it there if I ever want to use a remote tuner without running the 12v on the coax. It bailed me out a couple of years ago when my MFJ remote tuner went belly up. I hauled out my trusty SGC tuner, and it worked like a champ. I’m not sure why we are all in love with 12v over the coax.

>> The top light I used did a good job but I also have a Villages street lamp as I’m on a corner lot but that alone is not proper flag lighting. The issue I’ve heard from people with ground up lighting is they seem to attract many more bugs. When I put in my flagpole I did run a 12 gauge pair for DC power to support ground lighting. Any input on bugs around your ground light?
