[TVARC] Meeting Suggestion

Hi Greg,
Welcome to TVARC and thank you for the suggestion.  It turns out that the first agenda item of each meeting, right after the Pledge of Allegiance,
Is to offer new members and guests to introduce themselves.  The last couple of meetings K4ZDM has carried the microphone to all new members and guests who feel like introducing themselves.  I’m sorry you missed it in June, but definitely take advantage of the opportunity in July.

I have been a member of the TVARC since about last October and attended my first meeting this month (June). I was surprised to not see an introduction of new members attending a first meeting. I would suggest making an effort to do this at each meeting, because otherwise you/we don’t get a chance to place names and call signs with faces. Just my observation as a new member. So check out my QRZ page and you will see a photo. Nice to meet you all!
