Nice meeting you, Ken, and don’t be afraid of asking anything (about ham radio, anyway)!

Gents,

And especially George (K2DM) and Rich (ND4G) and John (near FT8 station) and Ken (who let me nag him about everything else), and a couple more of you in the trailer who were very generous with your Elmering.

I studied last year (2021) and got my general, but truthfully have had very little practical knowledge. Between the breakfasts and the QRPs in Sanford, I learned a lot. But this past weekend was a humongous jump forward for me. Setting up and hanging around in the trailer and meeting visitors was tremendous for me.

I wish I would have written all of your names to thank you individually; but I do remember clearly who you are and am indebted to you for teaching, sharing and especially for not being condescending! Sometimes it is embarrassing asking basic questions, but all of you came through for me.

Thank you again,

Sincerely,

Ken Peters KO4OAT
