[TVARC] K4QR's "Brag" - 2022 ARRL Int'l Digital Contest (ContestID: ARRL-DIGI)

Hi Members of TVARC’s MailList (especially those interested in contesting),

My contest brag in a nutshell: 76 QSOs resulting in a total score of 1,096 points.

My breakdown of QSOs and points by band is reflected in this summary produced by the contest logging application that I used for this contest (Tom Linder’s/DL2RUM “RUMlogNG” for Apple computers running Mac OS):

The inaugural running of the "ARRL International Digital Contest” (Contest ID: “ARRL-DIGI”) occurred this past weekend (June 4-5, 2022).  It was a lot of fun.  I only spent about 6.25 hours (actual time sitting in the chair) working this contest.  Because of other conflicts and commitments, I had to split my contest time into two (2) sessions.  The first session was on Sunday (6 June 2022 UTC) from about 03:20 through 07:45 UTC.  The second one occurred later on Sunday from about 21:42 through 23:34 UTC.

During that first session, I got lucky with a good band opening on 20 meters.  Here’s some statistics from this session:

Session#1 Summary: 
    #Hrs Worked: 4 hrs 25 min
    #QSOs: 52
    #QSOs/Hr = ~11.56 [= 52/~4.50]

During the subsequent second session, I also struck pay dirt with a good band opening on 15 meters.  Here’s some statistics from this session:

    #Hrs Worked: 1 hr 52 min
    #QSOs: 24
    #QSOs/Hr = ~13.71 [= 24/~1.75]
