Compliments to Pete, Bob, and Rich on your IARU results this weekend. Everyone working everyone sure makes for a fun contest.
We were in SC for a wedding reception, so my operating time was limited. Very limited. Like one hour. After checking the lightning map and seeing it was safe, I connected to the remote and we were off and running. Well, not running, but Searching & Pouncing. 20M was alive and really jumping with wall-to-wall signals well past midnight. There were so many stations to work I never got around to trying 15 or 40 although I did see some 15M spots. After an hour of pure fun I needed to get some sleep in prep for Sunday’s family activities. Hopefully, we’ll be home for next year’s IARU and I can turn in a respectable score for the club.
73,
Rusty
