WSJT recommends a third-party clock program, Meinberg NTP Client.

Very easy to disable One Drive. First click on the cloud icon in the task bar.
Then, click on “Settings”
and then uncheck everything.
FYI – I purchased a new tower on “Black Friday”. I thought I was buying a Windows 10 machine with a 10th generation i7, 32G RAM. They shipped me an 11th generation i7. Tough break for me. Far be it from me to complain.
Out of the box, during the registration process it immediately provided me the option to upgrade to Windows 11.
I love how fast it takes now to boot up (a tad more than 5 seconds). And, with the apps and programs located on a 500G SSD, things open almost instantly.
I have almost all of my stuff copied over from my old PC, and the new PC runs all my ham apps seamlessly: HRD, N1MM+, WSJT-X, JTAlert, MMTTY, 2Tone, etc.
One thing I cannot seem to resolve is using NTP to keep the PC synchronized for FT8, and FT4. Win11 seems to allow me to sync to any URL, including the ones I used to point to with NTP, BUT, I cannot get NTP to act automatically (as a service) to keep the PC in sync. I need to manually sync every couple of days. A ROYAL PITA. Still working on it.

Thanks for the positive review Steve. I agree with you and most others that there is usually much trepidation pre and post software upgrades. I’m happy it went well.
Are you using N1MM? Apparently N1MM doesn’t play well with Windows One Drive. In Win 10 Home you can turn it off, but I understand that is not an option with Win 11 Home edition.

I have had a dedicated and separate HP PC running Windows 10 Home to handle my ham station using an Icom-7300, Ham Radio Deluxe (with HRD Logbook), WSJT-X, JTALERT and MMTTY, etc. as well as normal PC functions. I have another Dell PC that I use for non-ham stuff. I have one screen, keyboard and mouse to work with both PC's using "Mouse-Without-Borders" - I have an HDMI switch to move from one PC to another. Both PC's are within two years old, and have the capability to be upgraded top Win 11.
