Hello Larry,

Yes, the price for each connector is unbelievable; I did purchase some out of the EU this afternoon much lower than RF Parts even after the shipping cost.
If it’s Okay, I’ll give you a ring tomorrow to check your schedule, I would like to see the Andrew’s (similar type) of connector.

  Thanks,
   Stan, W5PDQ

Hi Stan -

I'll do a Reply All in case someone else is interested ...

Looks like RF Parts at rfparts.com<http://rfparts.com> has the Eupen 1/2" hardline connectors in several formats N-F, N-M, BNC, etc, just be sitting down when you see the prices (!). They say the Eupen connectors are interchangeable with Andrew & Commscope so no issues on installing them.

If you want to see how the Andrew connectors go together, I have 1 of the Andrew L44N N-Female new but not in box and 1 L44AW N-Male new in plastic, you are welcome to stop by & and see how they go on to the cable if you like.

Hello Members,

I decided to pull some coax out of the attic, possibly as a repurposing project here at the shack.
One of my low-loss runs happens to be hardline, identified as EUPEN ½” Hiflex (EC4-50-HF, 50 OHMS, 5092-HLFR).

If anyone that’s had some experience using ½ Hardline, I’d like to know what I’m in for pertaining connector installation (?) …and of course that’s if, I can find any N Connectors available.
I’m familiar with Ecoflex 15 and Massi & Paoloni Hyperflex 13 type of connectors.
This hardline may come in handy for 23cm, which currently sits unconnected on both of my transceivers.

If you have any feedback, please fill free to reply directly to my email, some member may not be interested in hardline headaches or happiness 😊.

   Thanks,
   Stan, W5PDQ
