[TVARC] "wfview" - Software To Remotely Control Certain ICOM Rigs

Hi Members of TVARC’s MailList (especially those of you with ICOM radios),

If you want to REMOTELY control certain ICOM rigs (over USB and/or LAN), then you may want to checkout a new software called “wfview” at this link/URL:

Currently, the wfview software is a work-in-progress.  It’s open source and free.

“Flavors” of wfview are available for Linux, Mac OS, and Windows.  You can download the latest official releases at this link (URL):

If the developers meet their design objectives, then wfview could become a serious contender alongside ICOM’s expensive software called “RS-BA1” (version 2.x).  The planned “roadmap” for wfview is available at this link (URL):
