Most of my effort for this one was during the second 24 hours.  SSB is
not my favorite mode due to the splatter and heavy accents plus lousy
hearing, hi.  Also, the second day is easier since the big stations have
worked the spots.  I was glad to see the upper bands open to Europe,
especially 10 meters.  I had forgotten that signals on 10 would be S9+20
one or two calls then S1 for a few.  Many times I tuned past a station
only to see it pop up on the panadapter so I could swing back and work
him.

My effort this year for 15 hours was much better than last year (<100
QSOs).  The Class X flare did not mess things up until late in the
contest so a good weekend for contesting.
