Oh, nice, Rich! I stand corrected. Rich is the QSO AND overall points
winner for TVARC. Good going.

I would suggest, if you're concerned about copying the serial# correctly,
that you work him right away, and then if you're not sure you got it right,
hang on and listen to the next QSO. In the event you are sure about it,
then no need to wait around.

BTW, not to make you feel bad, but WN1GIV (N4BP in South FL) made 700 QSOs
on 10M! He just may have a better antenna.

Here is my take at the CQ WPX contest this weekend. Conditions are
improving, but I was disappointed in 10 meters. Only open for a half-hour or
so on Saturday and Sunday. At least that is when I caught it. I didn't stay
long, as it was sluggish at best, and 15 was not much better. 20 meters was
alive into the late evening hours, so I didn't give 40 meters much time
since this old guy needs to get some sleep. LOL

As Pete said in his post, I agree and should have spent more time on 40 as
that is where the points were.

All search and Pounce. I am now starting to think about the CW academy to up
my code reading ability because I get very intimidated by the stations
coming at me at 30-40wpm, if and when in the Run mode. It is obnoxious and
almost obscene.

In S&P, I need to pre-copy a station's number by listening to a couple of
stations working him before I jump in knowing what the next number will be
(for me).

I heard Ed/K2TE calling someone on Saturday, and didn't hear any other
villager. On Contest Online, I didn't see our club listed, so nobody logged
in over there, but I saw Wayne/N4FP active with the FCG, and saw an old work
buddy from South Florida (WB4EHG) also active with the FCG.

Summary:
