Get a lite gauge PVC pipe 1/2" larger in diameter to the rod.
Get a Female PVC Hose coupling and glue it on one end.
Saw a biased cut at the other end of the pipe and break off the piece to leave a pointed spear.
Connect the garden hose to it over the desired spot, add water pressure and twist the pipe, back and forth about +/-- 90 degrees while holding in a vertically downward orientation.
When you are deep enough, reduce the water pressure and withdraw the PVC.

At this point, the rod should slip down the hole, maybe with a little persuasion.

Subject: [TVARC] Ground Rod - Installation

Hello TVARCers:
I need to install two ground rods.
If anyone has any hints on doing it or having it done, I'd appreciate your suggestions.
